Full care and dedication for guests
I offer a small-scale boarding service allowing the guinea pig guests to have my full attention, care and dedication. I am happy to clip nails and carry out some basic grooming as part of the package.
Meadow hay and Timothy hay is provided for everyone and Alfafa hay for any youngsters.
I have Selective Grain Free pellets and Burgess Blackcurrent & Oregana pellets.
I grow fresh grass in small tubs for extra enrichment.
All veg is provided and each family of guinea pigs will have a meal plan for the duration of their stay.
Accommodation
The guinea pig shed is fully insulated and has versatile enclosures so I can make sure larger groups have adequate space. The shed has a WiFi thermometer and camera meaning I can check in on them anytime from anywhere.
Secure mesh window and door allowing ventilation on warm days whilst keeping guests safe.
I have both fleece liners and Auboise shavings and will always ask if you have a preference for your guinea pigs. Meadow hay is provided for bedding and all important hay piles.
I use cardboard boxes for hides as I can choose the right size for the guinea pigs, cut extra holes in the sides to make sure there are multiple exits, this is especially important for boar pairs. You can have the boxes at the end of the stay, every piggie family will have new hides.
